Review Updates

Follow the progress of the program review here. We’ll post updates as milestones are reached, data comes in, and recommendations take shape. Updates

• September 22, 2026 - The Pathways community survey was launched and distributed via the Pathways listserv. The survey is open to all Virginia Tech employees and closes on November 20, 2026.
• September 2, 2026 - The UCCGE decided not to issue a moratorium on new / revised Pathways courses during the program review, but encourages departments to carefully consider proposing or revising courses during this time. Pathways courses and minors may have to go back through university governance in 2-3 years if the program review results in changes to the program.
• May 2026 - Resolution CUSP 2025-26A Passes. CUSP 2025-26A was approved by university governance and resolved that there be a review of the Pathways program in the 2026-27 academic year.
